Leslie Melville, was looking for a magical effect to fit into his new
"Green Man" story presentation. Bill Thompson (of the
House Of Secrets) took the principle of Okito's Rising Pencil, Voodoo
Doll, et al and produced ' The Leaf '.
In performance and as you tell a story, a most realistic leaf is placed flat on your up turned palm. At the desired time, the leaf rises and stands upright. No thread is used. Can be used on either hand.
