UK Lecturer Frank Allen. Gifted in performing Bizarre Magick and reading the Tarot.

Frank has been a professional working Bizarrist for the last ten years and is also known as 'Alain The Storyteller', a character he portrays when performing bizarre magick. [In October 2006, he won the British Magical Society Close Up Competiton, performing one of his Mountebank bizarre routines].

In an attempt to expand the interest in bizarre magical entertainment, Alain entered past British I.B.M. Close-Up competitions, obtaining 3rd prize in 1998 and 2nd prize in 1999. This was a surprising reward when considering that these competitions usually consist of what we would normally term as standard magic effects.

As 'Alain', his unique stories are interwoven with magical effects and range from tales of the Medieval Mountebank to Witches & Wizards and even the Devil and his works (wherein good always triumphs over evil).

His Bizarre Magick lectures can be tailored to suit any club's individual needs and there are many valuable lessons to be learned from them. Such as how to make bizarre magic practical in a working environment that most working magicians would know as 'Meet & Greet' situations  also, late night restaurant entertainment.

Apart from the above, Alain is also an experienced professional Tarot Reader with some thirty years experience.  It is therefore not surprising that he has an available lecture devoted solely to the Tarot. This is a full two hour lecture which includes a slide show. It covers a lot of ground, from a brief history and the development of the Tarot, right the way through to explanations of how to begin to understand, interpret and read the cards.

The Tarot lecture is available for all groups, from W.I. to private parties and magic clubs. Again the lecture can be tailored to the groups needs.
